A foreign company produces anti-corona fabrics using special materials for the production of masks and hospital clothing.
According to a, Mehr News Agency , quoting the Nanotechnology Development Headquarters, studies show that the fabric containing silver particles, produced by Nanox in collaboration with several research centers, can kill the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Destroy in 2 minutes. This fabric is to be used to produce masks and hospital clothes.
Nanox has developed a fabric that can kill the SARS-CoV-2 virus in laboratory tests. The results of tests performed on this fabric show that approximately two minutes of contact of this fabric with the virus kills 99.9% of viruses.
In this project, Nanox has partnered with the Institute of Medical Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo (ICB-USP), the Laboratory of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry of the Jaume I University of Spain (UJI) and the Center for Applied Materials Development (CDMF) with the support of the Sوo Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
Nanofax is patenting the technology. To produce this fabric, the researchers used a combination of linen (polyethylene) and polyester, on which silver particles were used. Immersion, drying and stabilization process have been performed to deposit silver particles on the surface.
“Luys Gustave Pagoto Simoz, CEO of Nanox, said: We agreed with several companies and factories active in the field of textiles to use these materials to produce masks and hospital clothes.
CDMF scientists have recently begun collaborating with UJI researchers on a project led by young Anders Burt of UJI’s Department of Physics and Chemistry. The team began testing the effectiveness of silver nanoparticles on the corona virus.
This project is defined based on the evidence obtained from practical papers, which show the potential effectiveness of silver nanoparticles on a variety of virus models.
With this in mind, Nanox has partnered with ICB-USP researchers to study samples of the SARS-CoV-2 virus from two Brazilian patients who are the country’s first coronary patients. The results so far show that fabrics containing silver microparticles can kill the virus in 2 to 5 minutes. In addition to these tests, which examine the antiviral, antifungal and antimicrobial properties, this fabric has also been tested to eliminate some skin problems.
