The Director General of Textile and Clothing Industries of the Ministry of Security said at the meeting of the leadership and management headquarters of the resistance economy of Yazd province, which was held with the focus of the textile industry: It is necessary to develop a comprehensive plan for the textile industry chain and complete the textile industry chain in the province.
According to the government information base, citing Shata, Afsaneh Mehrabi pointed out that textile companies get their raw materials from petrochemicals and said: Provision of raw materials, machinery and liquidity are three important issues that can determine the progress of all industries, especially textile industries.
Referring to the history of Yazd province in the field of textile industry, he said: Now the supply of the entire textile chain is done in Yazd province and the necessary support and accompaniment will be provided by the Ministry of Security.
Director General of Textile and Clothing Industries of the Ministry of Samet continued: Our bottleneck in the field of textiles is fabric, part of which enters the country unofficially, for this reason, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive plan for the textile industry chain.
Mehrabi stated that, of course, the official import of cloth has increased. In the past, the amount of informal import of cloth was more than clothing, but with the measures taken, informal import or smuggling is prevented in a more serious way.
He emphasized: Stopping imports requires domestic supply of fabric and we will make every effort to increase fabric production in the country, and besides education, discussions on innovation center, laboratory center, completion of conservatory, etc. will also be done.
The director general of textile and clothing industries of the ministry of Samat also emphasized on the construction and organization of small textile units in Yazd and said: This should be considered as a priority.
It should be mentioned that the opening ceremony of the 11th International Exhibition of Textile and Clothing Industry of Yazd Province was also held in the presence of the General Director of Textile and Clothing Industry of the Ministry of Samet, the governor, the head of Samet Organization of Yazd and other officials at the permanent place of the international exhibition of the province.
